Is Oura Down? Status and Sync Fixes

Oura wasn't down at our last check, so if your Oura Ring won't sync, the problem is likely on your phone, ring or app: see Oura Ring Not Syncing. Garmin owners have a separate page on Garmin Connect sync problems during an outage.

How to Check Oura's Status Yourself
Oura publishes two official sources, and you need both:
- status.ouraring.com: Oura Health Ltd's status page, with 3 components (API V2, API Webhooks and Health Panels), past incidents, and alerts by email, SMS, Slack, webhook or RSS.
- Known Issues in Oura Member Care: app and ring issues marked Open, In Progress or Fixed. Oura's team "updates this list weekly and will remove fixed issues after six months."
The status page doesn't list the ring or the Oura app, so "All Systems Operational" doesn't rule out a known app issue.
Affected Devices and App Versions
At our check, Oura's list had open issues about syncing and missing data, including these four, in Oura's words:
- Issue 3037, "Unguided sessions may fail to sync": all users on version 7.18.1 or newer.
- Issue 3074, "Sleep data may be missing or incomplete": all users on version 7.19.1 or newer.
- Issue 3096, "Sleep stages may be missing": iOS users on version 7.20.0 or newer, on Oura Ring 4 and Oura Ring 5.
- Issue 2948, "Data Collection Freeze Causing Missing Data": iOS users on version 7.11.0 or newer.

What to Do Now
Match your situation to one of three cases:
- Oura lists an incident: wait. Resetting your ring won't fix a problem on Oura's side, so leave it until the status page shows Operational.
- An open Known Issue matches yours: follow Oura's workaround on that page, where Oura gives one.
- Nothing matches: use the sync fix. Follow Oura Ring Not Syncing for the full steps.

What Oura's Status Page Does and Doesn't Cover
Oura's status page tracks API V2, API Webhooks and Health Panels, and its past incidents name the same parts, such as "Health Panels Partner Maintenance" in November 2025. It doesn't explain what Health Panels covers, and it doesn't list the Oura Ring or the Oura app. Ring and app faults go on the Known Issues list, where Oura says you can see "if an issue affecting your Oura Ring or App is already known." How We'll Update This Page
Four rules for this page:
- We check both Oura sources at least daily, and every 30 minutes while Oura lists an incident.
- Every check refreshes the What Changed box and the Status last checked line (ET times).
- Each incident gets a dated log entry: Oura's title, affected components, start and end times.
- We never use third-party outage trackers.
