Gadget247News plans to pay for itself with display ads. At launch, the site shows no ads, and no brand or advertiser pays us for anything.

How the Site Is Funded
- Display ads from an ad network are planned. At launch there are no ads on the site.
- There are no affiliate links. We don't earn a commission when you buy something.
- There is no sponsored content. No brand pays for a guide, a news post or a place in a list.
- There is no paid placement in fixes. The fix we give you is the one the maker's own documentation supports. A brand can't pay to appear in a fix, to be left out of one, or to change the order of the steps.
If any of this changes, we'll update this page first. Any paid content would carry a clear "Sponsored" label.
We aren't affiliated with or endorsed by Apple, Samsung, Google, Fitbit, Garmin, Oura, Sony, Bose, JBL, Skullcandy or Beats. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners.
What Advertisers Can't Do
- Choose, edit or review a fix, a guide or a news post.
- Buy a link, a mention or a better position on a page.
Where Ads Will Appear
When ads go live, they'll sit in space the page keeps for them from the start, so the page doesn't jump as you read. Ads will never appear:
- above the fix or answer at the top of a guide
- between the first three steps of a fix
Which Ad Network We Use
We haven't chosen one yet. We'll name the ad network here, and update our privacy policy, before any ad goes live. The date at the top of this page shows the last change.
The site runs no analytics and no third-party scripts at launch. When ads are switched on, a notice will ask for your choice first, and the privacy policy will explain what the ad network collects.
