Most people find us when a device stops doing what it should: earbuds that won't connect, a watch that won't sync, a battery that drains overnight, or a problem that started right after an update. We give you the fix first, then the reason, and we tell you which models and software version it applies to.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: get your device working again, and tell you what changed when an update arrives.

Wearables and wireless audio change with every firmware and software update. A fix that worked last year may not work today. That's why we tie every fix to the software version it applies to, and why our Update Tracker lists current versions and known issues for each brand.

What We Don't Cover

  • Phones, laptops and TVs on their own. They appear only as the device your watch or earbuds connect to.
  • Product reviews, "best of" lists and deals. We don't test products, so we don't rank them.
  • Medical advice. Our health pages explain how your device and its settings work, not what your readings mean.

How We Check Every Fix

We don't test fixes on physical devices. Instead, we check each step against the manufacturer's own documentation: Apple Support, Samsung Support, Google Help (including Fitbit and Pixel), Garmin Support, Oura Support, and the Sony, Bose, JBL and Skullcandy help pages.

Every fix guide shows a Verified line with:

  • the official page we used
  • the models it covers
  • the software version, when the source gives one
  • the date we checked it

If we can't confirm a step on an official page, we don't present it as fact.

We recheck a guide when a new firmware or software version comes out, and when a reader tells us a fix didn't work. Read more about how we verify fixes.

Health, Safety and Cost

  • Health and fitness pages (sleep, steps, heart rate, workouts and GPS) cover device settings only. They are not medical advice. If you're worried about a reading or a symptom, talk to a doctor.
  • Repair and cost pages use prices and coverage terms from the manufacturer's official pages, with the date we checked them. Prices change, so confirm with the manufacturer before you pay.
  • Recalls and safety notices link to the official notice and tell you what to do next.

How We Use AI

We use AI tools to help research and draft our guides, and to create some illustrations, which are labelled as generated. Every fix step is checked against the manufacturer's official documentation, and each guide shows its source and the date it was checked. Suraj Giri reviews every page before it's published.
