Lenovo’s new ThinkBook laptop With An Amazing Feature (compares to Apples)

1 Mins read

Lenovo has announced its new ThinkBook 16p Gen 4 laptop, which comes with a series of modular accessories called Magic Bay that can be attached to the top of the display via an outward-facing notch with connector pins. The ThinkBook 16p Gen 4 is a 16-inch laptop with the latest 13th generation Intel Core H-series processors and optional discrete graphics up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX. It has a 3.2K 16-inch panel with Dolby Vision support and DDR5 memory, as well as dual-SSD storage providing up to 1TB of space.

One of the main Magic Bay accessories is a 4K webcam that snaps onto the top of the laptop, giving users a bigger, better camera that is suitable for content creators and streamers. The ThinkBook 16p also has an FHD IR (or optional RGB) webcam built in, but the 4K camera offers a significant upgrade. The webcam sits on a 270° adjustable hinge, allowing it to be angled towards the user or in a different direction if the user is filming something else. An electronic privacy shutter allows the camera to be turned off when not in use, or it can be removed from the laptop entirely.

The Magic Bay Light is another accessory that can be attached to the ThinkBook 16p, providing an additional light source for the laptop’s webcam. The Magic Bay Light offers up to 200-lux of adjustable brightness and has minimal power consumption. The final Magic Bay accessory is the Magic Bay LTE, which gives the laptop mobile connectivity in areas where the internet is unreliable or in cafes with poor WiFi. The Magic Bay LTE offers 4G LTE speeds through a SIM card slot, and it also has a LED indicator and a USB-C port that can be used to connect to other devices.

The Lenovo ThinkBook 16p Gen 4 will start at $1349 and is expected to be available from May 2023. The Magic Bay accessories will only be available with the ThinkBook 16p Gen 4.
