Amazon’s Latest Ring’s Car Cam Is Here

Amazon’s Ring brand has announced the launch of a new dashcam called the Ring Car Cam, which is designed to keep an eye on a car’s interior and exterior. The camera can be activated by a voice command and stores footage locally, uploading it to the user’s home Wi-Fi network when in range. Ring Protect Go, a subscription service that costs $6 per month, enables LTE connectivity and allows users to view a live feed and receive real-time alerts when the car is away from home. The Car Cam also has a built-in speaker and microphone, allowing users to talk to people in the car. The camera can be preordered for $200 during the preorder phase, rising to $250 at retail when it becomes available in February.
